Respect. Self.
Self-respect.
No self-respecting person would crash through a Foot Locker window and steal. No self-respecting police officer would intentionally abuse or harm a person he or she was sworn to protect.
No self-respecting news reporter would lie to promote a political point of view. No self-respecting politician would lie and manipulate the public to retain power and line his or her friend’s pockets.
No self-respecting corporate board chairman would willingly crush employees with fear to increase profits or charge prices so high as to bankrupt its customers.
No self-respecting person would refuse to wear a mask to the point of risking death.
We seem to have completely forgotten ourselves in our flood of internet news and social commentary. We seem to have forgotten that we are all Americans. Make no mistake that we need each other to survive.
Love your neighbor. Love yourself. Respect your neighbor. Respect yourself. Please.
