Bears to trade TE Shaheen to Dolphins
The Bears are trading tight end Adam Shaheen to the Miami Dolphins, a source confirmed to the Tribune on Saturday.
Pro Football Talk reported the Bears will receive a conditional 2021 sixth-round draft pick in return. The trade marks the end of a rocky three-year Bears career for the 2017 second-round draft pick. Shaheen, who was the No. 45 pick out of Division II Ashland, had 26 catches for 249 yards and four touchdowns in 27 games, including career highs of 12 catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season.
