“NCIS: Los Angeles” (7:30 p.m., CBS): After a Russian bomber goes missing while flying over U.S. soil, Callen and Sam (Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J) race to track it down and secure the weapons and intel before the Russians on board destroy the aircraft in “The Bear,” the Season 12 premiere. Elsewhere, Hetty (Linda Hunt) gives Nell (Renée Felice Smith) a cryptic assignment. Vyto Ruginis guest stars; Daniela Ruah, Eric Christophe­r Olsen and Barrett Foa also star.

“The Real Murders of Orange County”

(6 p.m., 10 p.m., OXY): This new truecrime docuseries, which premieres with two one-hour episodes, chronicles some of the most horrific and salacious cases ever to rock Southern California’s elite coastal community. The opening hour relates the story of how flight attendant Jane Carver was slain mere yards away from her home.

“Christmas With the Darlings”

(7 p.m., Hallmark): As the height of the holiday season approaches, Jessica Lew (Katrina Law, “Arrow”) is looking forward to moving on from her familiar role as assistant to her wealthy boss to accept a position in the company that will allow her to put her newly earned legal degree to good use. She’s happy, however, to offer assistance when her boss’s charming younger brother, Max (Carlo Marks), needs help caring for his orphaned niece and nephew over Christmas. Steve Bacic also stars in this 2020 yuletide romance.

“Kids Baking Championsh­ip”

(8 p.m., 11 p.m., Food): Four fan favorite bakers from past seasons return for “Season’s Sweetings,” a special yuletide-themed episode in which the contenders are put through their paces by hosts Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, who challenge them to create holiday gingerbrea­d challenges with a cake twist. As one of several curveballs awaiting them, the bakers also must make reindeer treats.

“NCIS: New Orleans”

(8:30 p.m., CBS): The Big Easy is grappling with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic as Season 7 of this crime procedural premieres with “Something in the Air, Part 1.” After Pride (Scott Bakula) dispatches Tammy and Carter (Vanessa Ferlito, Charles Michael Davis) to investigat­e a suspicious death aboard a humanitari­an ship offshore, they learn that some crew members are infected with coronaviru­s.

“The Christmas Bow”(

9 p.m., HMM): Kate (Lucia Micarelli) is despondent when a freak accident puts on hold her lifelong dream to play in the Rocky Mountain Philharmon­ic in this 2020 holiday romance. As she recovers at her family home over the Christmas holiday, she reconnects with Patrick (Michael Rady), an old friend whom she now sees in a far different light. This unexpected romance, and coaching from her grandfathe­r (James Saito), gradually lead Kate to rediscover her self-confidence and let music back in her life.

“Moonbase

8”( 10 p.m., 12:15 a.m., 1:30 a.m., Showtime): Fred Armisen (“Saturday Night Live”), Tim Heidecker and John C. Reilly are creators, writers and the stars of this new half-hour comedy series, in which they play, respective­ly, eager astronaut trainees Skip, Rook and Cap, the leader. The trio live and work at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator deep in the isolated desert outside Winslow, Ariz. There, the guys attempt to qualify for their first space mission.
