Malone, Thomas J.

Thomas J. Malone, 83 of Rolling Meadows was born June 7, 1937 in Chicago to Joseph and Maybel (Booher) Malone and passed away peacefully April 29, 2021.

Tom was raised in Chicago’s Norwood Park neighborhood attending St. Thecla Catholic School, St. George HS, and Loras College. He retired to Bonita Springs, Florida where he was a longtime member of Hunters Ridge Golf & CC after working in the dairy and freight industries most of his life. He was an accomplished softball player, an avid golfer, and flew a Cessna 210. But most of all – enjoyed spending time with his family.

Tom was the beloved husband of the late Marianne Malone; loving father of Michael (Becky) Malone, Maureen Malone, John (Jeanne) Malone and the late Thomas Malone and Kathleen Malone; loving stepfather of Kim Paterno, Beth (Mitch) Marlowe and the late Michael (Karen) Kwiatkowski. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Ryan, Stephen, John, Rachel, Renee (Joaquin), Meghan, Erin, Denis (Maddie), Lucile, Nour, Jasmine, Jeremy, Joshua, Justin, Jacob, Adam (Lena), April, Sam, Michelle, Madison and Sara; great-grandfather of 11. Dear brother of the late Patricia Malone and late Michael (Mary Lynn) Malone.

Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Theresa Church, 455 N. Benton Street in Palatine. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
