How to find clip-on earrings
Dear Answer Angel Ellen: Am I the last person on earth who doesn’t wear pierced earrings? I’ve searched stores everywhere with no success. Where can I find comfortable clip-ons?

Dear Peggy: I wear only clip-ons and, I must say, I have a pretty awesome collection. So, where did I get them? Thrift stores, antique malls, vintage shops. Almost all of those have at least a small selection of clips from the days when clip-on earrings were popular (pre-mid’60s). Also, many thrift stores sell bags of old costume jewelry for $5-$10, and I almost always find clip-ons in those too. I just donate back the stuff I don’t want to the shop where I bought it. As for comfortable? YouTube has helpful, easy-to-follow tutorials on how to tighten or loosen clips using just a pair of needle nose pliers.

Just loosen the tuck so the fabric isn’t taut across your torso. You’re right that some men think wearing an untucked polo or T-shirt hides their extra pounds. It doesn’t. Dear Elizabeth: I’ve tested some of the many products designed to solve your problem. None are perfect, but I’m OK with the elago Ear Hooks (amazon.com,
$10.99), which have to be removed to recharge the AirPods in their charging case. Don’t bother with the Aha Ear Hooks (amazon. com, 3 pair $12.95), which do not keep the AirPods in your ears and also require removal for recharging.
