Sanchez, Christopher

Christopher “Chris” Joseph Sanchez, 39, peacefully passed away on the morning of Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Born in Hoffman Estates, IL, he was the most loving son of Edwin and Robin Wilson Sanchez. Chris spent most of his life in Illinois. He and his family had recently moved to Greenville, SC where Chris flourished.

Chris was a devout Christian and a true patriot. Chris received a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern history and Political Science from Northwestern University. He loved Chicago White Sox baseball, nature, music of numerous genres, military aircraft, and the joy of living.

In addition to his loving parents, his memory will continue with his best friend and sister, Danielle Grajales and her husband, Jeremy; his adoring paternal grandmother, Miguelina Lewandowski; three loving aunts, Magaly Trierweiler and her husband, Jack; Brenda Wilson; Dina Pine and her husband, Charles; and two cousins, Charles Pine Jr. and Jessie Pine.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bud and Virginia Wilson; and his uncle Robert Wilson.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
