Adeline Julia Fencik (nee Glow), 91, of Zion and Barrington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Adeline had a full and wonderful life experienci­ng Chicago throughout WWII and the Korean War where her husband honorably served. At Barrington High School, her husband John was a long-time Assistant Principal and Adeline worked many years for School District 220 Administra­tion. She was devoted to home and family evident by her actions and guidance to raise 6 children. She was blessed with 13 nieces and nephews, 12 grandchild­ren, and 3 great grandchild­ren. She enjoyed giving to many charities and causes. Adeline was the loving wife of the late John Fencik; loving mother of the late Karen Adele Fencik, John Gary (Sandy) Fencik, Thomas Scott (Peggy) Fencik, Eric Adam (Beth) Fencik, Renee Suzanne (Robert) Hartoon, and Christophe­r John Fencik; beloved grandmothe­r of, John Patrick Fencik, Charles Fencik, Garrison Fencik, Evan Fencik, Matthew Fencik, Elyse Fencik, Adam Fencik, Noah Fencik, Lauren Fencik-Nergenah, Megan Leigh Hartoon, Stephanie Anne HartoonTur­ner, and Amy Christine Hartoon-Burns; cherished sister of Raymond Glow and Grace Gove; and loving daughter of the late Wanda and Adam Glow. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date to be determined. A notificati­on will be announced.
