Five shot in Wheeling after quarrel in Prospect Heights

A disagreement at a restaurant in Prospect Heights led to the shooting of five people at a Wheeling home early Saturday, according to Wheeling police.

The five people, aged 28 to 30, had returned to a home in the 800 block of Fletcher Drive after the argument and about 5 a.m., Wheeling police were sent there for multiple people shot, police said.

The five were sent to area hospitals.

No further information was released.

Upon investigation, police discovered

No one was in custody and the Wheeling Police Department continues to investigate.
