Bette Powers LeVerso, passed away peacefully at her home on October 28, 2022. Beloved mother of Paula and Todd Lizak. Loving daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Powers. Dear sister of the late Marjorie Becker. Cherished cousin, aunt and a dear friend to many. She was a long time member of St. Gregory the Great Parish in Chicago. President of the

Board of Directors of The Central Church of Chicago. Creator and Chairman of The Central Church of Chicago Foundation which donates to women, children and abused animal organizations. Her career started at Osco drug in Andersonville and then she became the general manager of the Hermitage Art Company for almost 40 years, then became a successful realtor in the Lake Geneva area. Bette was always a lady and a gracious hostess who enjoyed spending time at her homes in Chicago, Sarasota and Lake Geneva with family, friends and her dogs. at Colonial - Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL. from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Funeral Mass will be at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 5545 N. Paulina, Chicago, at 11:00 a.m.Thursday, prayers at the funeral home start at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following Mass you are invited to Calo Ristorante for the funeral luncheon.
