Hon. James M. Schreier, Age 82, Ret. Supervising Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County Criminal Division, Born into Eternal Life on November 6, 2022. Beloved son of the late Melvin and Lillian Cody Schreier. Loving brother of Sr. Mary Kay Schreier, D.C., and Eileen (Dr. Carl) BonTempo. Dear uncle of Carl Joseph BonTempo (Kristin), Christopher John BonTempo (Katherine), and Marc Anthony BonTempo. Proud great uncle to Henry, Madeline, James, and Teo. Longtime mentor to Brandon Williams and many other students. Jim was loved and will also be greatly missed by his many cousins, relatives, and friends. Alumnus of Christ the King School (1954), St. Ignatius H.S. (1958), Georgetown U. (1962), and earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law (1965). He was a generous supporter of Catholic education. Jim was an avid tennis player. Family and friends will meet at Christ the King Church 9235 S. Hamilton Ave., Chicago, IL 60643 on Sunday, November 13th, 2022 for visitation from 2-7pm and Monday November 14th, 2022 from 10am-11am in church. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11am.
