Anthony Joseph Dichiarint­e (Tony), age 71, of Lincolnwoo­d, IL. Beloved husband of Patricia L. ‘Trish’ Adams. The couple spent 52 wonderful years together. Dear brother of Diane (Philip) Cook. Kind brother-in-law of Audrey (the late Sid) Ellman and Nancy (John) Nelson. Proud uncle of Philip (Peggy) Cook, Christy (Jared) Vegosen, Derek (Cherie) Cook, and Devin (Rachelle) Cook; Kristen (Reid) Lanz, Megan (Matt) White, and Kim Nelson. Fond grand uncle of 16. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony J. Dichiarint­e Sr. and Margaret Dichiarint­e nee Marchegian­i. Tony graduated from Queen of All Saints elementary school class of ’66, and Loyola Academy class of ’70. He attended St. Mary’s College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science from Elmhurst College in ’76. He had several vocations throughout his life; he worked as a vet tech at Riser Animal Hospital in Skokie, owned and operated The Sheridan Plaza Florist in Lincolnwoo­d, and was a sales specialist at The Bredemann Dealership in Glenview. Anthony will forever be remembered for his love for animals, immense generosity, impeccable manners, timeless style, and firm handshake. A man of integrity, in 71 years he never made an enemy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Helping Paws Animal Shelter or PAWS Chicago or Tree House Humane Society or St Jude Children Hospital or Best Friends Animal Society.
