■ Angels: Shohei Ohtani declined imaging after he left an Aug. 3 start against Seattle after four innings and 59 pitches because of cramping in his pitching hand and fingers, Angels general manager Perry Minasian said Saturday. Ohtani returned to the mound six days later and beat the Giants, throwing 97 pitches over six innings while allowing only an unearned run. He then skipped a turn, citing fatigue. Ohtani was removed from Wednesday’s game against the Reds after his 26th pitch, and a scan revealed a torn ulnar collateral ligament.

■ Red Sox: Adam Duvall hit a three-run homer over the Green Monster, and the Red Sox beat Mookie Betts and the Dodgers 8-5 on Saturday.

■ Orioles: All-Star reliever Félix Bautista was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday by the Orioles, who can only hope his elbow won’t keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

■ Blue Jays: Davis Schneider hit a two-run homer and an RBI single, helping Hyun Jin Ryu and the Blue Jays beat the Guardians 8-3 on Saturday.

■ Padres: The Padres placed Jake Cronenwort­h on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a fractured wrist, ending his season.

■ Brewers: Brewers principal owner Mark Attanasio expressed optimism about the status of negotiatio­ns involving renovation­s to American Family Field and indicated Saturday he wants to make sure the team stays in Milwaukee. The Brewers have called American Family Field home since 2001 and have a lease that expires in 2030 . ... William Contreras hit a two-run double in the Brewers’ five-run fifth inning, and the streaking Brewers beat the Padres 5-4 on Saturday for their seasonhigh seventh straight win.

■ Mariners: Teoscar Hernández homered twice and drove in six runs as the Mariners matched a franchise record with seven homers in a 15-2 rout of the Royals on Saturday.

■ Braves: Austin Riley hit his 30th home run, Max Fried pitched six uneven innings, and the Braves kept rolling with a 7-3 win over the Giants on Saturday.

■ Nationals: Jake Alu had a tying RBI single in the ninth and Michael Chavis scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball as the Nats rallied to beat the skidding Marlins 3-2 on Saturday.

■ Rays: Tyler Glasnow took a no-hitter into the sixth, and the AL wild card-leading Rays beat the struggling Yankees 3-0 on Saturday.

■ Mets: Mets slugger Pete Alonso left Saturday night against the Angels after getting hit by a pitch leading off the eighth inning. Reliever José Soriano’s first pitch of the inning — an 86-mph curveball — hit the ducking Alonso near the back of the neck.

■ Angels: Angels starter Chase Silseth was taken to a hospital Saturday after getting hit by an errant throw in the fourth inning against the Mets.

■ Rangers: The Rangers stopped their season-worst eight-game losing streak and remained tied for the AL West lead with a 6-2 win over the Twins, after Robbie Grossman and Leody Taveras sparked a fourrun ninth with consecutiv­e bases-loaded walks.
