Steelers take care of business vs. Ravens

-

Cameron Heyward figures the Steelers can make some noise in the playoffs.

They still need a little help to get in, but they’ve certainly done their part down the stretch.

“Let us be dangerous,” said Heyward, the Steelers defensive tackle. “We have a formula that’s working right now. Hopefully we can get some guys back in the fold.”

Mason Rudolph threw a 71-yard touchdown pass to Diontae Johnson on the first play of the fourth quarter, and the Steelers took a step toward the postseason with a 17-10 victory over the Ravens on Saturday.

Rudolph led the Steelers (10-7) to three straight wins to close the season, and now the Steelers wait. They would make the playoffs Sunday if the Bills lose to the Dolphins, or the Jaguars lose to the Titans.

There was some bad news for the Steelers amid all that hope. T.J. Watt — who had two sacks to take sole possession of the NFL lead with 19 — left in the third with a knee injury.

„ QB Trevor Lawrence and WR Christian Kirk are on track to start the Jaguars’ regular-season finale against the Titans on Sunday that will decide the AFC South champion.

College basketball: Hunter Dickinson scored with 3.4 seconds left to lift No. 2 Kansas past TCU 83-81. Dickinson led Kansas with 30 points on Saturday . ... Al-Amir Dawes had 23 points and Kadary Richmond scored 21 to lead Seton Hall over No. 7 Marquette 78-75 on Saturday.

Golf: Chris Kirk two-putted for birdie from just short of the 18th green at Kapalua on Saturday, giving him a 7-under 66 for a one-shot lead in The Sentry and hardly any room for error going into the final round of the PGA Tour’s season opener.

NBA: Draymond Green was reinstated from his suspension Saturday after missing 12 games for hitting Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face on Dec. 12.
