Some companies have embraced outdoor workspaces to promote health, creativity, and productivity for their workers. Even if a company doesn’t have an official outdoor workspace, many still provide outdoor areas for employees to work, relax or socialize. Today’s large tech companies lead the way in outdoor workspaces and California’s climate is perfect for outdoor spots, which explains the location of the majority of corporatebased outdoor workspaces on the following list:
Google: Google is known for its innovative office designs, including outdoor workspaces at some of its campuses. Its headquarters in Mountain View, California, features outdoor meeting areas, workspaces, and recreational spaces.
Apple Park: Apple’s headquarters, Apple Park, in Cupertino, California, includes large outdoor spaces with landscaped gardens, walking trails and outdoor seating areas for employees to work and collaborate.
Salesforce: Salesforce Tower in San Francisco includes a 5.4-acre park on the rooftop, complete with outdoor workspaces, gardens, walking paths and panoramic views of the city.
