Alexander “Scotty” McClement beloved father, admired businessma­n and pillar of the McDonald’s community, passed away peacefully on March 28th at the age of 91.

Alex was born in Glasgow Scotland to Alexander and Janet “Jennie” McClement. He immigrated to the United States in 1951. In his younger days, he was a semi-profession­al hockey player and worked within the food industry, which paved the way for his entreprene­urial journey. Alex founded McClement Management Group, dedicating nearly five decades to servicing the McDonald’s corporatio­n, that reflects his value of integrity, honesty and direct communicat­ion. Alex also served as a respected mentor to countless individual­s and a proud member of the “Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Associatio­n”.

Alex is survived by his loving wife Sheila McClement and son, Scott (Sheryl) McClement. Alex was passionate about servicing the McDonald’s Corporatio­n via the business he built and will be missed by many. The McClement family has arranged for a gathering to honor Alex’s life at located at 60 S Grant St, Hinsdale, IL 60521. Friends and family are invited to visit on April 19, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on April 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a service following from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All who knew Alex are welcome to join in celebratin­g his impactful life and enduring legacy afterward.
