Lemon Pepper Yogurt Marinade

Add a refreshing tangy flavor to your chicken with this marinade! The lemon pepper seasoning used in this recipe is a mix that contains salt. If you use one that is salt-free, plan to add about a half teaspoon of fine sea salt to the marinade. Or you can season the chicken to taste after it is cooked.

Yield: about 1⁄2 cup

INGREDIENT­S

• 1⁄3 cup plain Greek yogurt

• 2 tablespoon­s olive oil or cooking oil

• 1 tablespoon yellow onion, chopped

• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

• 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

PREPARATIO­N

Combine all ingredient­s in single serve blender cup or small food processor. Puree 20 to 30 seconds, until all ingredient­s are minced and blended. Place chicken in a shallow dish. Rub the thick marinade over the chicken, then pour any remaining over the chicken. Cover and refrigerat­e at least one hour.
