Industrial output rises in Hungary

Hungary’s industrial output rose 5.4 percent year-on-year in September, official data said. Based on working-day adjusted data, the production grew by 8.1 percent, Hungary’s central statistical office KSH said in a statement. Industrial output went up by 5.2 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2017, according to KSH. On a month-to-month basis, industrial output in September was 0.7 percent lower than the previous month. September’s industrial export sales increased by 5.9 percent yearon-year. Industrial domestic sales grew by 6.3 percent.
