Homelink run puts communities first

The last “community city run” held this year by China’s real estate agency Homelink took place in Xiamen, Fujian province in early November. About 1,000 participants ran for five kilometers around their communities. Homelink said the event gave residents a chance to know their neighborhood and make jogging partners after daily work, thereby promoting a healthy lifestyle. Its more than 130 stores in Xiamen provided free water and running equipment for locals to encourage more people to take part. Since June, related activities have been held in six cities, including Beijing, Tianjin and Chongqing.
