Vegetable, fruit exports to Mongolia rise

China’s exports of fresh vegetables and fruits to Mongolia saw robust growth in the first quarter of this year, according to Customs figures. Over 26,000 metric tons of fruits and vegetables were exported via Ereenhot, the largest land port on the border between China and Mongolia, during the first three months of the year, up 25.1 percent on a yearly basis. Total export value hit 34.8 million yuan ($5.36 million) during the period, up 33.6 percent year-on-year.
