CID ANDRADE’S O GAUGE LAYOUT
The New York Central and the Pennsylvania RR may have vanished from the American railroad scene, but these two great fallen flags are alive and well in the Southern Hemisphere. Or at least O gauge representations are! Hobbyist Cid Andrade enjoys operating postwar and modern-era trains on the threerail layout he constructed at his home in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Among Cid’s favorites is this MTH Premier line no. 20-3007-1 replica of a USRA 4-6-2 Pacific bearing New York Central markings photographed by his daughter, Beatriz Martins. Cid typically adds a few newcomers to his motive power roster on his regular travels to the United States.
