Sticky help for a bulb

Ever have a problem getting the tiny light bulb out of a Lionel no. 2420 or 6420 wrecker caboose with a searchlight? Take a small piece of Scotch tape, and slide it down between the bulb and the socket. Press the tape on firmly, and then you have a tab to twist it out, Make sure you put tape around bulb and have enough to leave you an inch or so tab to screw it out easily. Of course you must have a bulb willing to come out. Some have been in there so long they’re stuck in, usually from rust as the moisture in the air is enough over time. – William Rifenbury, Aiken, S.C.
