For more than 35 years, Classic Toy has been – and will continue to be – your premier resource for O and S gauge trains past and present. But over the course of that span, the publishing business has undergone massive changes. Paper, printing, and postage costs have risen exponentially. Readers of every age and interest level are increasingly looking for content online. The way hobby information is consumed is constantly changing, and we must change with it.

Starting with the January/February 2022 issue, CTT will be published six times per year. All current subscribers will receive the number of issues published in a year term. The amount of time remaining on your subscription will not be altered. The publishing schedule will be January/ February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December.

Despite the reduction in the number of print issues, we’ll still produce the same amount of content you have come to expect from us. More of that content will now be published on Trains.com/CTT with unlimited access to registered subscribers. So, if you haven’t registered on Trains.com, please do, so you can enjoy the full range of stories, reviews, and videos we create for you. We remain committed to serving our loyal audience with more and better stories, videos, and product information, both in print and online. We love O and S gauge trains just as much as you do and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
