JIM ZEAMES’ O GAUGE LAYOUT
The track plan and landscaping on the O gauge layout filling the basement in the home of Jim and Janet Zeames have undergone massive changes since we visited there to present a comprehensive view of the family railroad for the March 2015 issue of Classic Toy Trains. What haven’t changed are Jim’s preference for the fallen flags that were consolidated to form Conrail back in 1976 and his sharp eye when it comes to creating urban and industrial scenes inspired by the Northeast, especially those he has glimpsed right around his hometown of Lewiston, N.Y.
