Woody & Miley Create a Crisis

“It was much harder to do than I thought,” admits writer-director Woody Allen of his first TV series, Amazon’s Crisis in Six Scenes.

“It’s six half-hour episodes. And it ends. It’s not the kind of thing that could go on in perpetuity.” What’s it about? “It’s a comedy that stars me, Elaine May and Miley Cyrus primarily and takes place in the late 1960s,” says Woody, 80. “Hopefully people will find it amusing.” If not, he can take the money and run!
