Scientists reporting in the journal Vaccine suggest getting vaccinated early in the day. In their study of 276 adults, those who got poked between 9 and 11 a.m. had a larger increase in protective antibodies a month later than those who got the shot between 3 and 5 p.m. The researchers say the activity of the immune system fluctuates throughout the day and may be more responsive earlier on.
