Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy gush over their two decades of bliss.

Star couple Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy stole the spotlight in LA at the Sept. 18 Emmy Awards, where they were both vying for the prestigious TV honor. Neither won, but their true prize continues to be each other! “I just lucked out with this guy,” reveals Felicity, 53. “He walks in a room and I go, Ah!” And William, 66, notes he still gets butterf lies whenever he’s with his wife: “She’s my best friend and hysterically funny. I adore talking to her — she’s a great confidante.”

Now the pair are on track to celebrate 20 years of marriage next year — a milestone that almost didn’t happen since, Felicity notes, William had to ask for her hand “several” times over the 15 years they dated. “I was finally smart enough to go: I’m going to marry this guy or really lose him for good.”

“I don’t understand it completely, but she adores me. She thinks I’m funny.”
