San Francisco

Rolling hills, creeping fog, cable cars, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman’s Wharf — San Francisco’s many unique attributes and destinations hold a special place in Florence Henderson’s heart. “I spent a lot of time there and I just love it,” the Brady Bunch actress shares with Closer. To fully explore this Northern California city perched on the end of a peninsula, Florence, 82, suggests visitors “keep moving.” She proposes crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, which spans nearly two miles, hiking in peaceful Muir Woods National Monument and getting a bite to eat in the funky Mission district. “There are so many things to do there,” notes Florence. But even if you choose to just spend some quiet time in Golden Gate Park, it’s hard not to be impressed. “I just love the beauty of the city,” she says — and you will, too! — Aaron Rasmussen
