RACHAEL’S GARLICKY BACON BURGERS

Serves 4

11⁄2 lbs. 80% lean ground beef

4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

2 tbsp. Worcesters­hire sauce

1 tbsp. soy sauce

3 tbsp. finely grated onion and its juice

4 slices cheddar cheese

3 tbsp. hot sauce

1⁄2 cup ketchup

4 burger rolls, split

4 slices crisp cooked bacon

Lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced red onion and sliced avocado (to serve)

1. In bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, Worcesters­hire sauce, soy sauce and onion. Season generously with salt and pepper. Form 4 patties.

2. Heat grill to medium-high. Arrange burgers on grates. Cook 4 min. per side for medium or to desired doneness, topping each burger with 1 slice of cheese during last min. of cook time. 3. In small bowl, combine hot sauce and ketchup. Spread cut sides of buns with spicy ketchup. Layer buns with cheeseburg­ers, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and avocado as desired. Serve immediatel­y.
