Airline Employee Saves the Day

A Southwest Airlines employee went to great lengths to reunite a cancer patient with her luggage.

After a canceled flight left colon cancer patient Stacy Hurt separated from her bags, which contained important medication­s, she reached out to Southwest and explained her situation to an employee named Sarah. Sarah not only tracked down Stacy’s luggage, but she personally delivered it to her home at 3 a.m. so that she would have it in time for her morning chemothera­py treatment. “This woman has restored my faith in humanity,” says Stacy.
