Darius, former frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish, says the island “caught my heart years ago” — and he even wrote a couple of albums there with the band. “The people are the nicest!” says Darius, 51, who remade himself into a chart-topping country music star in 2008. “The food is great,” he shares. “I love just driving on mopeds and hiking around.
