A dog found tied to a tree with a note finds a home.

It was a heart-wrenching scene when husky–black Lab mix Zeus was found in the middle of the woods with a bag of dog food and a handwritten note: “I am a very good dog, my owner just can’t afford me anymore,” it read. “She tried to find me a home, but nobody would take me.”

But the Prince George County animal shelter in Virginia found him there and said they placed him with “wonderful pet owners who will give Zeus the kind of home that loves him for life this time. Zeus has found his fairy-tale home at last!”
