The Cutting Edge’s D.B. Sweeney takes Closer through his new Chicago estate.
Since he’s known for portraying an ex–hockey player in the rom-com The Cutting Edge, it’s fitting that the sport brought D.B. Sweeney to his new house in the suburbs of Chicago in 2017. “My son plays hockey, and my wife and I thought he’d have a better chance of chasing his dreams in a hockey environment,” D.B., 56, tells Closer. “When I was still inside the car, I saw the outdoor rink a neighbor installed in a park behind the house.
