Learning to Live Without Joey

-

IT’S BEEN more than two years since his beloved wife and musical partner, Joey, died of cancer at 40, and country star Rory Feek says he feels “just as married and just as in love” with her. “I feel like she’s just as much a part of our life as she was.” He’s written a new book, Once Upon a Farm: Lessons on Growing Love, Life, and Hope on a New Frontier, about raising his grown daughters from an earlier relationship, Heidi and Hopie, and Indiana, 4, whose mom was Joey. “I’m learning — I’m getting better,” Rory, 53, says of single fatherhood. “I’ve got another shot at it.”
