Turning Her Life Around

After a life of crime, Catarina Morales Reyna beat her demons and graduated high school — at age 49! The Sanger, Calif., resident began taking drugs at a young age and spent five years in prison. “Along the way, I had children — seven to be exact, which I lost custody to all but one,” she claimed. “But I’ve been clean seven years, been out of prison 10 years and I got all my children back in my life today.” And on May 31, she got her diploma from Sanger Adult School. “I feel extremely proud .... I’m overflowing with joy.”
