NEARLY TWO YEARS after Carrie Fisher’s untimely death, her legacy lives on as her half-sister, actress Joely Fisher (Ellen), is starting a charity to continue her work helping people struggling with addiction issues. “I’m putting together the Fisher Foundation, which will be support for people who can’t afford to go to rehab,” Joely told Closer at Project Angel Food’s recent Angel Awards in LA. “There are so many people who are on the edge of that moment that if they had money, they might actually get into rehab.” Joely, who wrote a family memoir, Growing Up Fisher: Musings, Memories, and Misadventures, says, “I feel Carrie around all the time. Grief is an interesting thing — it washes over you. The show must go on!”

Joely and Carrie had the same father, Eddie Fisher; Joely’s mom is actress ConnieStevens.
