THE CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM STAR JUST HAS ONE REQUEST FOR HER FAMILY’S NEW ADDITION
Cheryl Hines reveals how she’s preparing to be a grandma.
“I’m excited to be a part of this little baby’s life!” — Cheryl
Cheryl Hines is about to take on a brand-new role but she’s having just a bit of trouble getting into character. Her stepson, Bobby Kennedy III, and his wife, Amaryllis Fox, are due to have a baby girl in January, yet “I don’t know that I want to be called Grandma,” Cheryl, 53, recently admitted to Closer with a laugh. “It’s a really fun time, but I have to come up with a different name. Maybe CeCe. Luckily I still have a couple of months to figure it out!”
Cheryl, who is a spokesperson for the Painfully Awkward Conversations Campaign
(which addresses painful sex and menopause issues) is fully ready, though, to embrace the joys the baby will bring her and husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 64. “I have a feeling we’re going to have long weekends of babysitting,” gushes Cheryl, whose daughter, Catherine, is 14. “And I’m looking forward to not having to be the parent and teach lessons like ‘Tell the truth.’ Instead, ‘Lie! Have fun!’ I can’t wait,” she quips.
The actress is equally as excited to direct the upcoming feature film Revenge Wedding and to dive back into playing Larry David’s ex-wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm. “We’re about to start shooting our 10th season, but really we’ve all been together for 17 years or something,” she says of her onscreen family, which makes her real-life husband ecstatic. “Robert watches Curb too much,” she reveals. “He binge-watches when
