After nine months on the run, the former Iraqi dictator is found by U.S. troops on Dec. 13, 2003, hiding in a hole near his hometown of Tikrit. In 2005, he is found guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death, which occurs on Dec. 30, 2006.
