MY LIFE IN 10 PICTURES

-

Look back at Diane Keaton and all the men in her life.

GROWING UP in Santa Ana, Calif., Diane Hall just “wanted to be adored.” And after taking her mom’s maiden name, heading off to NYC and creating a style she “stole” from “cool women on the streets of Soho,” Diane Keaton certainly got her wish. But amid acting acclaim and Hollywood romances, she eventually wanted something more — becoming a writer, photographer and mother,

adopting daughter Dexter and son Duke in her 50s. “Slowing down isn’t something I can relate to at all,” confessed Diane, who turns 73 on Jan. 5. “The goal is to continue in good and bad, all of it. To continue to express myself, particularly. To feel the world. To explore. To be with people. To take things too far. To risk. To love.

I just want to know more and see more.”
