On a warm spring afternoon in Santa Monica, Ben coached his son Samuel, 7, at baseball practice. The action hero manned a pitching machine and tossed the ball during the April 28 warm-up. “It’s one of those things, you love it so much, it’s like the dad dream,” Ben, 46, recently confided about coaching his son’s team. “It’s a lot of fun and the kids are great kids. The people have been really cool.”
