Red Handed

On March 2, Michael had as much of a ball at the LA premiere

of Winning Time as he did playing legendary hoops coach Red Auerbach in the series. “The only thing that’s lousy about this is that my dad isn’t alive to see it. My father was such a huge Celtics fan and preached the gospel of Red Auerbach in our house. He would say, “You see that guy? That’s Red Auerbach. That guy knows how to win. He’s a winnah!’”

While it was “a thrill and a joy” for the Massachusetts native to play a Boston Celtics icon, it can’t top his role as dad to daughters Autumn and Odessa. “Listen to them, talk to them, and most of all, love them every minute.”
