When beloved comedy icon Betty White passed away last December at age 99, she left behind a wealth of memorabilia from her 80 years in show business. For three days, from Sept. 23 to 25, this remarkable collection of more than 1,500 lots will be up for bidding at Julien’s Auctions. They include Betty’s Emmy, Grammy and SAG awards, signed scripts and wardrobe from The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show, fine jewelry, and other personal items from her Brentwood, Calif., home. This Van Cleef & Arpels gold flower brooch with brilliant diamond and blue sapphire details was one of Betty’s favorites. It’s likely to sell for more than $14,000.
Betty and Allen Ludden’s gold wedding bands — engraved “6-14-63 I really do” — are also up for sale.
