On April 22, the comedienne really cemented her legacy when she was tapped for the famed handprint ceremony at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre. “The fact that this ceremony is a bit surreal to me doesn’t at all diminish the gratitude that I feel for every single person who made it possible. As a young performer, I dreamed the sky was the limit, and here I am being celebrated as a sidewalk,” Lily quipped. “What a journey it’s been from having to hit the pavement to being the pavement.”

“One of the thrills is knowing my slab of concrete will end up near the beautiful and brilliant woman who introduced me,” joked Lily of pal Jane Fonda.
