COINage Leaders to Spearhead Virtual Event

FREE VIMEO COIN SEMINAR INVITES PUBLIC PARTICIPAT­ION

The experts, John Albanese, James Passin, Antoinette Rahn, Maurice Rosen and Scott A. Travers will be the featured speakers at Opportunit­ies in Coins and Precious Metals 2021, a 90-minute online seminar that will give attendees useful informatio­n on op-portunitie­s in the era of the coin: rare coins, Bitcoin and other cryptocurr­encies, and pre-cious metals. The seminar is virtual, and admission online is free. It is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, 2021, beginning at 4 pm.

The panel discussion with questions and answers will be moderated by Travers, a nationally known New York City coin dealer, author and consumer advocate who has authored more than half a dozen award-winning books, including The Coin Collector’s Survival Manual®, a hobby bestseller. He is the executive editor of COINage.

Albanese is founder of Numismatic Guaranty Corporatio­n and Certified Acceptance Corporatio­n; one of the founders of the Profession­al Coin Grading Service; and a COINage contributo­r.

Passin is COINage cryptocurr­ency editor; The New York Times named “daredevil investor,” and Firebird Management LLC former hedge fund manager. He gained fame in precious metals and hobby circles when he bought rhodium in 2017 for under $700 an ounce and watched the platinum group metal soar to over $20,000 just a few years later.

Rahn is COINage and Rock & Gem managing editor at Beckett Media; Numismatic News, Coins, World Coin News, and Bank Note Reporter former editorial director; and Antique Trader former managing editor.

Rosen is a prominent profession­al numismatis­t and coin market analyst from Plainview, New York, whose influentia­l Rosen Numismatic Advisory is recognized perenniall­y as the outstandin­g newsletter in the field of rare coins and precious metals. He has published his Crystal Ball survey of forecasts for decades and is a contributo­r to COINage.
