William Pitt Sotheby’s ‘ Sundays at Sotheby’s’ series continues

Rowayton — William Pitt Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty announced recently that the firm’s Rowayton brokerage will be hosting an artist reception as part of the “Sunday’s at Sotheby’s” series, a monthly program in which the office welcomes new art to display in its office.

Artist Britt Bair’s work will be displayed at the event from 4 to 6 p. m. Sunday, June 10. Bair lives in Rowayton and is wellknown in the area for her work in a variety of mediums such as oil, acrylic and watercolor painting among others.

She has painted in Italy, Canada, Block Island and throughout New England, but spends most of her time painting in Connecticu­t. Bair is a member of the Rowayton Arts Center, New Canaan Art Center

and the Darien Art Center. Her work can be found in private collection­s from California to New York.

She is also the co- founder and co- president of Wilson Avenue Art Lofts, a group of 16 artists in 15 studios and a gallery space at 225 Wilson Ave. in South Norwalk.

During the reception on June 10, which is open to the public, the Rowayton office will showcase a display of Bair’s paintings. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will also be served in a casual setting with and the art will be on display all month.

Britt’s work is excellent and we can’t wait to showcase it in our office throughout June.”
