Dorothy Ann Beauchemin

Dorothy Ann Beauchemin, 79, of Osceola, AR, passed away on July 21, 2018 in Aurora, CO.

Dorothy was born in Bridgeport, CT to Edward and Edith Zapatka on January 6, 1939. She went to Warren Harding High School and graduated in 1958. After high school, she volunteered at Bridgeport Hospital, then was hired full- time there. She later worked for the Shoe Mart, her family’s business, which her father started, as the Secretary/ Bookkeeper, and retired from there. Throughout her lifetime she enjoyed camping, ceramics, crocheting, and playing board games with her family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren meant the most to her.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Edward and his wife Michelle of Monroe, CT, Clayton and his wife Theresa of Denver CO, daughter Virginia Studley and her husband, Craig of Aurora CO, son Robert and his wife Deborah of Osceola, AR, granddaughter, Rebecca War- muth and her husband Jeremiah, and grandsons Robert Jr, and Jake, brothers Edward, Robert, and Joseph Zapatka and sister, Rosemary Zapatka, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is at 10: 00 a. m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11: 00 a. m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary Chapel, 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Interment to follow at Saint Simeon Cemetery, 22001 CO- 30, Aurora, CO 80018.
