Realtor becomes part of her clients’ families
When one of Pat Blanko’s clients referred to her as “relentless” when it came to securing them a buyer for their house, she naturally took it as a compliment.
“Determination and experience are two things that set me apart,” Blanko explains. “That is how I get results for my buyers and sellers.”
A full time Realtor for 25 years, Blanko has been a top listing and closing agent in the area and has garnered numerous awards from her brokerage, including being named the company’s Top Listing Associate for the past nine years.
Blanko began by working with builders on new construction model homes. From there, her career pivoted to all aspects of residential real estate. She believes in the importance of really listening to what the client wants and making sure to follow through and deliver on that.
“I become part of their family,” she explains. “I listen and work with them to accomplish their goal. With sellers, I help them organize and get the house ready, help them with staging as I understand how buyers look at homes. I also help them convert their home to a ‘ house for sale’ so they can detach a little, depersonalize and set realistic expectations.” “With buyers, I help them realize their dreams of a new home while educating them throughout the process, including understanding property values and taxes in each town and instructing them through the inspection, mortgage and closing processes.”
Blanko’s expertise covers a wide range including new construction, land, active adult ( 55- plus) developments, first- time home buyers, relocation, empty- nesters and downsizing.
She specializes in the towns of Oxford, Southbury, Woodbury, Middlebury, Seymour and Beacon Falls.
She derives great pleasure from working with different people and is inspired by the happiness that is found due to the sale of a client’s house, or the purchase of a new home.
The most rewarding part of her career is making people happy.
