AARP Driver Safety

The one- day four- hour AARP Smart Driver Safety Class is offered to drivers of all ages, with an auto insurance discount for those 60 and older. Cost is $ 15 for members, and $ 20 for nonmembers. Adult day program

Grasmere by the Sea Adult Day Program, now Grasmere on Park at Jewish Senior Services, hosts open house events Thursday, Aug. 9, and Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 3: 30 to 5 p. m. on the lower level of the building through the community service entrance in the back parking lot of the campus, at 4200 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Lobster, steak

The Valley Regional Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge hosts a Lobster & Steak Picnic & Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 6 p. m. at the Valley Regional Lodge, 73 High St., Derby.
