William Pitt agent to rappel down Bridgeport skyscraper for charity
William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced that Fairfield- Southport agent Trey Bickers will participate in Over The Edge for Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.
The event consists of participants rappelling 230 feet off of the 18- story People’s United Bank building in Bridgeport on Sept. 16.
The first 75 individuals who raise a minimum of $ 1,000 have the opportunity to participate.
As of today, Bickers has raised $ 1,225 for the charity.
For more than 100 years, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club has provided a welcoming, positive environment in which kids and teens participate in life- changing programs, and build supportive relationships with peers and caring adults.

must raise more than $ 1.7 million dollars to ensure their programs are affordable to all children. To date, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club has raised $ 35,366 through the 2018 “Over The Edge” fundraiser.
“It is truly an honor to participate in an event that does so much for children and young adults in our local community,” Bickers said. “A fellow agent from our Fairfield- Southport brokerage, Tim Dailey, is on the planning committee for Over The Edge and encouraged me to participate. I am thrilled to have surpassed the $ 1,000 mark, and I look forward to raising more money for this noble cause leading up to the event in September.”
