Gone too soon

A tribute show about the life and work of Robin Williams is coming to Ridgefield. “Robin” stars impressionist Roger Kabler as the late actor and comedian, and also features Bill Kirchenbauer who worked with Williams on “Mork & Mindy,” the TV show that launched Williams’ career. The presenters of the production say it “goes to great lengths to respect Robin’s memory and celebrate his legacy.” A portion of the proceeds will go to suicide prevention charities. Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge. Friday, Sept. 14 at 8 p. m. $ 30. 203- 438- 5795, ridgefieldplayhouse.org
