Edward M. Grabarz

Edward M. Grabarz, age 78 of Stratford, beloved husband of 57 years to Wanda Adach Grabarz died peacefully on Friday, August 31, with his family at his side. Born in Osiny, Poland, he was the son of Joseph and Marianna Grabarz. A resident of Stratford for over 51 years, he was a retired employee of Sikorsky’s. A member of the White Eagle Society, Edward enjoyed gardening and his home. A kind and gentle man, he will be sadly missed by all who had known him.

Survivors in addition to his devoted wife Wanda include his 5 children, Barbara Viglione and husband Joseph of Monroe; Renata, Thaddeus, Lester, and Mary Grabarz, all of Stratford; 2 grandchildren, Anthony and Sarah; a great grand- daughter Sophia; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their special care given to Edward. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 5, at 10: 00 a. m. in St. Michael’s the Archangel Church followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery Stratford. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4: 00 to 7: 00 p. m. in the Commerce Hill- Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport.
